Cheaper than car-hire

The cost and availability of hire cars in Andalucía this year has been dreadful. We can help! There has been a terrible reduction in the numbers of hire cars available at all car hire companies in Andalucía this year. We understand that the reason for this is that the banks have not been extending the usual credit to the care hire companies to allow them to renew their fleets as they normally would. Thus, the supply of cars is low and the cost of them really high. As we write, the cheapest car available to rent from Almería airport would cost you €428 for a week.

If you are coming to Bérchules for a walking or riding holiday, it seems silly to hire a car at these prices just in order to be able to get here. If there are two or more of you it would work out cheaper to have us come to pick you up and then drop you off again at the airport. We charge €120 for a pick-up or drop-off at Granada or Almería airports and €160 for Málaga. For that you don't need to worry about scratches, leaving the fuel tank full, waiting in an interminable queue at the hire car desk, or... getting lost. We'll meet you in the arrivals hall and have you sitting on the terrace with a cool glass of something quicker than you could do it any other way.
