Pool Story

At last! The weather has finally warmed up sufficiently to justify cleaning and reopening the hotel's 10m swimming pool. It's a full day's job for two or three people and you can see from the images that we do it properly. Every Spring the pool is completely emptied of the water that has been sitting in it over the Winter. We then scrub down the walls, floor and surrounds, refill it and reinstall the pool-side furniture. It's now ready and waiting  for our guests to make the most of the lovely setting and the, ahem, bracing temperature of the water. It is slowly warming up with the very warm weather we are now enjoying but it will be a week or two before it ceases to provoke gasps!
