Painter's Paradise

We just said goodbye to our friendly painters after their fifth consecutive 9-day holiday here.  As usual they produced some brilliant work, mostly without actually leaving the hotel. Enthusiasm only waned occasionally when the temperature rose and there were other attractions ; or after a special fish lunch when a siesta took priority.  This year we had tried to organize some excursions to give the artists a wider impression of the beauties of the Alpujarras but the general feeling was that they had not yet exhausted the sights from Hotel Los Berchules and they would prefer to stay put.  Of course the Hotel benefits in more ways than one because several paintings have been donated and are now hanging on our walls.  We are extremely grateful for their generosity.  If you would like more information about the artists and their work, or if you would like to organize your own painting holiday, please contact us.
