Easter week

It often rains for Easter week, spoiling the processions, to the great disappointment of the "fieles".  Here the rain was disappointing for our walkers who tried not to think of the lovely sunshine in more northern parts.  But by next week probably the roles will be reversed and here Spring will quickly turn to Summer.  We'll be cleaning out the swimming pool, trimming the garden and preparing the gazpacho and other delights to quench the hunger and thirst of our guests.
This year during the Easter holiday we've had guests from all the continents and there have been up to eight different nationalities in the dining room at the same time.  Mostly they all share a love of walking; but there are many other interesting hobbies; lots of bird lovers who were delighted to see an adult Bonelli eagle accompanied by a young one, probably from last year, circling above the hotel.  Lots of binoculars and cameras came out. There have also been plenty of butterfly fans, delighted by the quantity and variety. It would have been a good week too for Cloud Appreciation Society visitors, so perhaps members should start thinking about their holidays for Easter next year!
